Know what stands behind your cabinet.

Written coverage
Sound & Oak warrants each cabinet to the original purchaser for one year from the date of delivery. Construction is covered: joints, doors, drawers, runners and the structure of the carcass. The finish is covered for the same year against peeling, cracking or delamination under normal indoor use. The written warranty is repeated on your quotation.
What your order includes
Our cabinet scope excludes countertops and sinks. Hardware we supply is covered for one year. The warranty does not cover misuse, leaks or standing water, improper installation, fading from direct sunlight, modifications, or normal wear. It applies to the original purchaser at the original installation address in the contiguous United States and does not transfer.
Installation and care
Have your installer check the final dimensions, plumbing clearances and required support before fitting the cabinet. Wipe spills promptly and avoid prolonged standing water, harsh abrasives or unapproved modifications. Care instructions for your finish come with the cabinet.
Finish and natural variation
Wood is a natural material. Where wood is specified, grain and color may vary. Agree the material, finish reference and dimensional tolerances in the written specification; screen images do not establish construction or an acceptable tolerance. We review concerns against that agreed specification and your legal rights.
Making a claim
Write to us within 30 days of noticing the issue with your order reference, a description and photographs, including a tape measure where size is relevant. We aim to reply within two business days. For delivery damage, report promptly within 48 hours, and report concealed issues within five business days of delivery; see our Shipping page. These reporting requests help us investigate and do not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Keep the cabinet available for review and check with us before altering or repairing the affected area. We put it right with a repair or a replacement part, shipped at our cost, or a rebuilt cabinet where that is the proper fix. Installation, removal and other labour are not covered.
Your rights
This warranty is additional to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. A warranty review does not itself establish whether a defect is covered; we confirm the applicable terms and the proposed resolution in writing.
